POSTED IN Geek, In The News

Please no more myspace. . . . We were just recently alerted here at Mashable that January 30th, just a few scant days away, is International Delete Your MySpace Account Day. Cory Geller sent us to a blog post by Simon Owens describing his growing disgust with the constant friend requests from the fembots.

Yup you heard it straight up, Jan. 30 is the day to delete you myspace account. I’m doing it, I’m getting tired of all th spam I have been receiving from the site. Come on, join on in, trust me, there are better places to go! ;)

I’m tired of all the porn on myspace and thei span, I reported 100s of profiles, but guess what, myspace is bullshitting you with fake deletion notification, they only delete small accounts, if you are a pornstar with 1000s of friends does not matter that you have naked pictures, you ass exposed and direct links to you adult websites, myspace don’t deletes this profiles, they bring too much income, but they reply to your report abuse with:

We have received and reviewed your report of inappropriate content. This content has been removed.

We thank you for your support in helping to keep MySpace a safe and fun community!

    MySpace.com

In 8 months the reported profiles are still there.
