Ether way, Buddhist have close ties with Christians on the believe of good and bad. So yes, good and evil are just a matter of one’s believes, so the question “Can good come from evil?” is answered by me saying; In order to make good out of evil it must be a justified cause. Buddhism > Christianity. Anyway, I do agree that if your morale values include those suggested in the bible, one can easily say that good can come from evil. However, I feel that good and evil are relative to one’s own belief system in the first place, so in a sense, everything is good, and everything is evil.
